Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla

Chairman

Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla is a recognized scholar in Islamic fiqh and jurisprudence and principal of Uttar Badda Islamia Kamil Madrasa. He is a Ph.D holder in “Micro-credit and zakat in alleviation of poverty: a comparative analysis” under department of Da’wah and Islamic Studies from Islamic University, Kustia. He also studied Arabic language and Islamic culture from King Saud University, Riyadh where he was awarded Gold Medal for his outstanding academic record.

Dr. Mohammad Monzur-E-Elahi

Dr. Mohammad Manzur-e-Elahi is a renowned Islamic orator at national and international level. He is an Associate Professor of National University of Bangladesh. He received his PhD degree from Islamic University of Madinah, KSA as well as he completed his graduation and post-graduation from the same.

Dr. Muhammad Saifullah

Member

Dr. Muhammad Saifullah is a Faqih member in different Islamic Banks & Finance industries. He is also an Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies of Asian University of Bangladesh. He has completed his PhD, Masters & Bachelor in Islamic Law (Shari’ah) from Islamic University of Madinah, KSA.

Mufti Abdullah Masum

Mufti Abdullah is a Certified Shariah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA, AAOIFI) and serves as Chief Mufti at Markaz al-Dirāsāt al-Iqtiṣād al-Islāmī, Dhaka. He is Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Committee at Social Islami Bank PLC and serves on the Shariah boards of multiple banks, asset managers, and Takaful institutions. He advises Sukuk issuances through BRAC EPL Investments Ltd. and contributes internationally as a member of several AAOIFI committees. He is also the Founder Director of IFA Consultancy Ltd. and recipient of the BAFF Award 2024 for his contributions to Islamic finance.

Mufti Sazzadur Rahman

Mufti Sazzadur Rahman is an expert and dedicated shariah researcher and skilled person in Islamic Finance & Fiqh (Jurisprudence). He is also Certified Shari’a Adviser and Auditor (CSAA), AAOIFI, Bahrain. He has more than 20 research papers on Fiqhul Mu'amala, Islamic Economics and Fiqhul Ibadah, etc. He also has experience working as a Sharia Associate at Adal Advisory, Malaysia. to spread the teaching and research on Islamic Finance he joined IFA Consultancy Ltd. where he is the present as Senior trainer & researcher. From 2019 to now he worked at Jami’ah islamiya uttar kafrul, Cantonment, Dhaka as a Vice Principal and also Deputy Mufti at the Department of Fiqh & Islamic Laws (Al-Takhassus fi al-Fiqh wa’al-Fatawaa).
