Meghna Fashal Rin ( মেঘনা ফসল ঋণ )

Meghna Fashal Rin is a dedicated loan product aimed at supporting individuals and businesses engaged in crop cultivation. Given the limitations of conventional loan products in addressing the unique needs of rural and agricultural borrowers, this Product is specially designed to offer flexible financing tailored to the seasonal and input requirements of farmers.

Eligible Borrowers

Individual farmers or businesses involved in crop farming
Women entrepreneurs in agriculture are strongly encouraged
Group financing is allowed (10–30 members, with at least 2 having 5+ years’ experience in farming)

Purpose of Loan

Land preparation and cultivation
Purchase of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and irrigation equipment
Harvesting, post-harvest handling, and storage
Other crop production-related costs as per estimate

Loan Features

Available at all MGBL branches across the country
Loan amount, tenure, and repayment schedule to be determined in line with Bangladesh Bank’s Agricultural & Rural Credit Policy & Programme
Assessment to be conducted in consultation with local Agricultural Officers/Experts
