Managing Director
Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, the Managing Director of Meghna Bank PLC, the country’s trusted, advanced and influential organization. Mr. Rahman, a veteran banker with almost three decades of experience in the industry, joined Meghna Bank PLC as Managing Director in December 04, 2025.
Before joining Meghna Bank, Mr. Rahman served as Managing Director & CEO of AB Bank PLC.
He started his career with Novartis in 1993 previously known as Ciba-Geigy (Bangladesh) Limited and subsequently served at Youngone and at Beximco before joining the Banking Industry.
Mr. Rahman also worked in different capacities in Dhaka Bank, IPDC, Bank Al Falah and United Commercial Bank. Over the years, Mr. Rahman acquired extensive knowledge in different segments of the banking industry with a distinct focus on Branch Banking, Retail, Process transformation, Business Development and Corporate Communication.
He participated in a good number of professional and management development trainings, workshops and seminars both at home and abroad including USA, Malaysia & India.
Mr. Rahman completed his MBA from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
